- Often the use of metal cutlery causes marks inside the ceramic or glass cups/mugs due to scraping of the glazed surface. Use toothpaste to get rid of the marks. - Place a metal teaspoon in the porcelain cup or glass to prevent cracking while pouring boiling water over it. - To clean the chopping board, scrub it with a nylon brush and hot soapy water after every use. Always rinse it thoroughly and dry the water off. - To remove the stains from the tea cups and plates, wet the cups and put around two tablespoons of salt in it. Gently rub it clean using your fingers or a soft cloth. The cups will be sparkling clean. - Immerse the clean silverware in a large container. Put a piece of aluminium foil along with hot water and salt. Dip the silver ware into the solution and the silverwares will be white, sparking and shinning in a few seconds. - If scared of breaking your favourite china while washing and cleaning them, place a thick towel in the washing sink and then rinse your chinaware. Do you have coffee, tea or cigarette burns on your china and ceramic ware? Just rub the stained sections with a damp cloth that has been dipped in baking soda!
